Chief Operating Officer
Steve joined Slate in 2013 and is a Partner and serves as the Chief Operating Officer. He works in a multifaceted role, providing management and legal support to the company and its affiliates for their ongoing operations, strategic plans, and acquisitions. Prior to Slate, Steve was at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he represented clients on several high-profile transactions. Earlier in his career, Steve worked at DDG Partners and Brack Capital Real Estate, where he underwrote prospective acquisitions and development projects. Prior to Brack, Steve worked at Related Capital Company structuring and managing funds comprised of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit properties. Steve graduated from University of Michigan Business School (Ross) and earned his Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
