Director, Asset Management
Charles joined Slate in 2024 and serves as Director of Asset Management at Slate Property Group. Charles oversees asset management for Slate’s market rate and affordable equity investments. Prior to Slate, Charles was a Vice President at Beam Living, where he was responsible for strategy and revenue management for Blackstone’s 15,000 multifamily units in New York City. He was also Head of Asset Management and Capital Markets for Vanke US, the US real estate investment arm of Vanke China, a global Fortune 500 company. Charles began his career with JP Morgan as an investment banking analyst. Charles received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rice University.
